We need you!

The SaskPower Windscape Kite Festival and Long Day's Night Music Festival are looking for volunteers. These fantastic festivals would be impossible without the support and dedication of our volunteers. We consider volunteers to be a valuable and important part of our festival staff.

We have a number of volunteer positions available for Long Day's Night Music Festival, from 7:00 pm until 2:00 am on Thursday, June 17, Friday, June 18, and Saturday, June 19. Volunteers for Long Day's Night must be 19 years of age.

There are also many different volunteer positions to be filled at Windscape Kite Festival on Saturday, June 19, and Sunday, June 20. Volunteers are needed to fill morning shifts from 9:00 am 1:00 pm, and afternoon shifts from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. There are a number of positions available, from working as a kite flyer's assistant, to serving food, to working with kids at one of our many children's activities.

Volunteers are needed to help set up on Tuesday, June 15, Wednesday, June 16, and Thursday, June 17, during the day, as well as on Monday, June 21.

Volunteering for Windscape or Long Day's Night comes with a fantastic perks package. Those who volunteer as part of the set up or clean up crews, or who volunteer at Long Day's Night, receive a complimentary pass to the concert on Thursday night. Volunteers who work on Thursday night receive passes to Friday night. Those who volunteer for two or more shifts at Windscape will receive a free collectible Windscape bandana and button..

If you have a couple of hours a day, or the whole weekend, please sign up to volunteer at one of these excellent festivals! We welcome volunteers of any age, and have a job for everyone. It's a great opportunity to make friends, hear some great music, and see some incredible kites.
